Fanusi Study Centre is a project of Kianda Foundation, a non-profit organisation committed to the education, personal development, and empowerment of women. Kianda Foundation supports initiatives that promote academic excellence, leadership, and ethical values through education and mentorship.
Spiritual Formation and Opus Dei
The spiritual and doctrinal formation offered at Fanusi Study Centre is entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church. This collaboration supports the Centre’s faith-based activities while respecting the freedom and personal convictions of each resident. Participation in spiritual activities is voluntary.
Institutional and Community Partnerships
Fanusi Study Centre collaborates with selected institutions, professionals, and community organisations to support its academic, mentoring, leadership, and volunteer programmes. These partnerships enhance students’ exposure to professional guidance, service opportunities, and real-world experience. In particular, we work with Volunteer Connect

Volunteer Connect
Volunteer Connect Kenya Foundation is a registered non-profit that mobilises local and international volunteers to expand access to education, improve healthcare, and uplift living standards in Kenya’s underserved communities. Their work spans three focus areas — education, healthcare, and economic empowerment — delivered through school infrastructure projects, medical outreach camps, mentoring, vocational training, and community development initiatives across Kilifi, Samburu, Kisumu, and Kibera. Through this partnership, Fanusi Study Centre students gain opportunities to take part in structured, real-world community service projects alongside volunteers from Kenya and abroad.
